COMCO Mundo Launches Advocacy Projects with IABC Philippines, Save The Children, and Other NGOs
November 25, 2024Award-winning communications group COMCO Mundo League of Enterprises caps the year with its Mission 2024 initiative, launching advocacy projects with industry and NGO partners.
Key efforts include the Save the Children #LahatDapatSafe campaign, which promotes child and family safety during disasters, and The Communications Olympiad, a skills development program for aspiring communication professionals, in collaboration with IABC Philippines.
The announcement was made at Movie Night with COMCOmigos 2024, the group’s holiday event for its media and industry community. Sponsors included Century Tuna, MIDEA, SAMSUNG, and URATEX, while partners included Save the Children and IABC Philippines. Guests enjoyed the screening of Wicked, the musical adaptation.
#LAHATDAPATSAFE CAMPAIGN WITH SAVE THE CHILDREN
The Save the Children #LahatDapatSafe campaign encourages public support for disaster relief and preparedness, especially during the climate change-affected holiday season. Donations and participation help provide emergency kits, food, water, and shelter for vulnerable families, ensuring children’s resilience and continued education despite calamities.

THE COMMUNICATIONS OLYMPIAD WITH IABC PHILIPPINES
COMCO Mundo, through its COMCO School of Communications and Citizen COMCO Advocacy Movement, has partnered with IABC Philippines to launch the Communications Olympiad. This learning program aims to equip collegiate students with essential communication skills, prepare them for industry success, and inspire them to address social issues through their roles as future communicators.
Launching in January 2025, the Olympiad’s inaugural theme will focus on environment and sustainability. The program includes roadshows, webinars, and a summit, culminating in an Olympic-style competition where students compete for medals and the Grand Championship.

UPCOMING PROJECTS
Since 2016, Citizen COMCO has championed key advocacies in children’s welfare, education, wildlife conservation, cultural heritage, social entrepreneurship, and Southeast Asian integration through impactful partnerships with NGOs.
In 2025, COMCO will partner with the Philippine Eagle Foundation to promote wildlife conservation and the Make-A-Wish Foundation to support terminally ill children. Additionally, COMCO’s Southeast Asian affiliate network will launch a regionwide advocacy program addressing critical social issues, with a summit in Manila to reinforce its mission of #OneSoutheastAsia integration.
