Disney Adventure Arrives in Singapore as Disney Cruise Line’s First Asia Homeport
March 03, 2026
Disney Cruise Line marked the arrival of the Disney Adventure in Singapore, where the ship will be based as the cruise line’s first homeported vessel in Asia. The ship entered Marina Bay Cruise Centre Singapore with a ceremonial water salute, followed by a fireworks display to welcome its arrival.
The Disney Adventure will begin sailing from Singapore on March 10, offering three- and four-night voyages designed for families and guests of all ages. Onboard experiences draw from more than a century of stories from Disney, Pixar, and Marvel, with entertainment, themed dining, and designed accommodations across the ship.
“The arrival of the Disney Adventure in Singapore marks an important step in bringing Disney Cruise Line to Asia,” said Joe Schott, president of Disney Signature Experiences. “Our newest ship brings together Disney storytelling and creativity in a new region.”
The debut of the Disney Adventure comes during a period of expansion for Disney Experiences. Disney Cruise Line plans to grow its fleet to 13 ships by 2031, following recent launches including the Disney Treasure and Disney Destiny.
Singapore continues to strengthen its position as a cruise hub in Asia Pacific, supported by direct flights from more than 160 cities and established cruise infrastructure such as the expanded Marina Bay Cruise Centre Singapore. In 2025, the country recorded more than two million cruise passengers across 375 ship calls. The Disney Adventure’s five-year homeporting agreement is expected to contribute to tourism growth and regional cruise travel.
Melissa Ow, Chief Executive of the Singapore Tourism Board, said Disney Cruise Line’s decision to base its newest ship in Singapore reflects the country’s role as a regional cruise destination. She added that the ship’s arrival supports the Tourism 2040 vision of driving sustainable tourism growth.
The Disney Adventure features seven themed areas designed for multi-day voyages at sea. Guests will find a range of dining options, including Asian-inspired dishes and specialty drinks, as well as nearly 17,000 square feet of retail space offering exclusive merchandise. Some retail concepts appearing on the ship for the first time in the Disney Cruise Line fleet include World of Disney, the National Geographic Store, and the Duffy and Friends Shop.
Entertainment on board includes the new stage production “Remember,” created specifically for the Disney Adventure, along with shows such as “Duffy and the Friend Ship.” Guests can also experience Marvel-themed attractions including Ironcycle Test Run, billed as the longest roller coaster at sea.
