From Apprentices to Leaders: COMCO Mundo Elevates Homegrown Talent Ahead of 10th Year
February 27, 2026
As it approaches its 10th anniversary in 2026, COMCO Mundo League of Enterprises has promoted several of its earliest hires and long-time team members into key leadership roles across the group.
The appointments highlight a throughline that has defined the organization since its early days: building leaders from within. Many of those now stepping into senior posts began as apprentices under the Camp COMCO Mentorship Program and have grown alongside the company.
Among them is AC Recio, now Associate Director for Digital, Content & Emerging Platforms and Deputy Business Administrator/Partner at SEA Wave & Spice. He helped establish the group’s digital and content practice and contributed to major industry programs and brand campaigns over the past decade.
Justin Harvey Llamosa has been named Chief of Staff to the Interregional President & Group CEO and Associate Director for Executive Initiatives & Strategic Communications/Partner. He has led corporate marketing, strategic accounts, and key partnerships, and supported the launch of COMCO School of Communications and the SEA CAN Alliance.
Queenie Resmundo-Orbista steps into her role as Associate Director for New PR and Smart Social/Communications and Deputy Business Administrator/Partner of COMCO Southeast Asia – Pilipinas. With nearly a decade in the organization, she has led integrated campaigns and strengthened the group’s MEXINAC engagement program.
Janela Bufi, now Senior Manager for Digital PR & Communications and Deputy Business Administrator at TARO AOX Inc., has handled local and international accounts across technology, consumer, and corporate sectors during her eight years with the company.
Patricia Raña, Associate Manager for Corporate Services and Enterprise Growth and Deputy Business Administrator of Sundaica Shared Services & Enterprise Community, has focused on strengthening governance systems while supporting internal culture and development programs, including Camp COMCO.
COMCO Mundo’s Interregional President and Group CEO, Ferdinand L. Bondoy, said the promotions reflect the organization’s long-term investment in mentorship and continuity. Rather than hiring solely to fill roles, he noted, the company aims to develop future leaders who will carry its work forward.
As the group expands across regions and ventures into new initiatives, these appointments signal its next phase—guided by leaders who helped build the foundation and are now shaping what comes next.
