New Samsung One UI 6.1.1 Galaxy AI Update

Samsung Electronics announced the expansion of One UI 6.1.1, bringing advanced Galaxy AI features to more devices through a September update. The update will extend AI capabilities from the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6 to earlier models, including the Galaxy S24 series, S23 series, S23 FE, Z Fold5, Z Flip5, and Tab S9 series, enhancing communication, productivity, and creativity for users.

Zero-Barrier Intuitive Communication

Communicating in another language is easy with Galaxy AI. The Interpreter’s Listening Mode, now available on more devices, offers one-way translation during presentations.

Chat Assist allows users to draft emails, social media posts, and more with Composer. By entering a few keywords, Galaxy AI generates messages based on tone and style. Suggested replies, previously exclusive to the Galaxy Z Flip6, are now available on the Galaxy S24 series, enabling quick responses from a connected Galaxy Watch7 or Galaxy Watch Ultra.

Powerful Productivity From Anywhere

The latest Galaxy AI features turn any Galaxy device into a productivity powerhouse. Note Assist simplifies meeting notes with translation, summaries, and a new transcript feature that converts voice recordings into notes. PDF Overlay Translation seamlessly translates text in PDFs, images, and graphs, while Sketch to Image enhances photos by generating image options from simple sketches. Circle to Search with Google offers advanced search, step-by-step solutions for math problems, and the new Sound Search feature for added convenience.

Advanced Creativity Made Easy

Galaxy AI empowers users to create professional-quality content. With Portrait Studio, easily create portraits in styles like 3D cartoon or watercolor. Instant Slow-mo lets users slow down videos while maintaining smooth quality, allowing quick saving and sharing in just a few steps.
