Century Tuna celebrates the return of mountaineer and Superbod athlete, Jeno Panganiban, who recently reached the summit of Nepal’s Mount Everest—becoming the youngest male Filipino to do so in nearly 20 years.

After months of braving extreme cold, thin air, and dangerous terrain, Jeno carried the Philippine flag to the top of the world. “As we approached the summit, I felt emotional. I knew the country was watching, and I was proud to raise our flag,” he shared.

Jeno’s climb marks the result of years of preparation and a major lifestyle shift. Once a full-time software engineer, he transitioned to running his own healthy food distribution business, giving him the freedom to train and pursue his dream. To prepare for Everest, he committed to intense training and disciplined nutrition—fueled in part by his go-to: Century Tuna Hot & Spicy with saltine crackers, a protein-packed meal that kept him going on long climbs and grueling days.

Throughout the expedition, Jeno faced high-altitude sickness, unpredictable weather, and exhaustion. “You have to be comfortable with discomfort,” he said. “We trained every day to make sure our bodies and minds were ready.”
