The MICHELIN Guide is making its second pass at the Philippines, with the 2027 restaurant lineup for Manila, its surrounding towns, and Cebu set to drop on October 29, 2026, over at the Manila Marriott Hotel.

It’s pretty cool timing, too. This year marks the 100th anniversary of the MICHELIN Star system, which started ranking places back in 1926.

The Lineup

Expect the usual run of One, Two, and Three Stars, along with the Bib Gourmand list—always my favorite for good, cheap eats—and the broader MICHELIN Selected spots.

The Process

Anonymous inspectors hit local spots without warning, rating dishes based on ingredient quality, cooking technique, flavor, personality, and menu consistency.

 

Catching the Reveal

The actual event at Newport World Resorts is invite-only for the local culinary crowd, but anyone can stream it live on the MICHELIN Guide Asia YouTube channel.

 

Definitely something to watch out for if you're planning your next local food trip around Manila or Cebu before the year ends!
